NCHA Affiliates of Australia are generally clubs, associations, or bodies who are interested in the activities of the Association. They play an important part in the growth of the membership and the grass roots sponsorship of Cutting Horse Contests. At present the NCHA has in excess of 50 affiliates and is very proud of its strong affiliate base throughout Australia.

The NZQHA is a breed association, affiliated to the American Quarter Horse Association, formed to keep and preserve records and pedigrees of all Quarter Horses in New Zealand, whether locally bred or imported. All stallions are classified at three years of age before they are entered into the NZQHA registry. Imported stallions are also classified before entry into the registry. All foals are identified, branded and progeny recorded wile still on their darns, then between the age of two and three years they are registered with the association.
